Trip to the Amazon

The Amazon is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. It is home to more than 10% of the world’s known species, and many of them can be found nowhere else. I was lucky enough to visit the Amazon last year, and it was an amazing experience.

The Amazon is a huge river, and it is impossible to see everything in one visit. We started our trip in Iquitos, Peru, which is the largest city in the world that can only be reached by boat or plane. From there, we took a boat up the river to the town of Puerto Maldonado.

Puerto Maldonado is the gateway to the Tambopata National Reserve, which is one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet. We stayed in a lodge in the reserve, and every day we went on different excursions to see the wildlife. We saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, snakes, and many other animals. We also went on a night hike, where we saw spiders and other animals that only come out at night.

The Amazon was an amazing place, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves nature and wildlife.
